LOST ART GALLERYMuseum Display Gallery

Most of the sculpture on this page is cast in resin and painted to look like live natural animals. On all of these, I did extensive research, conferred with paleontologists, and was critiqued during the sculpting. I created my own molds, cast the animals, and worked out the paint schemes. On the larger Steller's sea cows, momma and baby each had 300 to 500 whiskers hand-glued onto their muzzles. (A detail which would be left off of a bronze!) The dinosaur eggs have been bought by museums both in painted and bronze versions. There the bronzes will be permanently fixed onto a display where the public can touch them to feel the textures and details.
