| The great one. This 1/4 scale skull is based on the tyrannosaur skull AMNH 5027 on display in the American Museum in New York. The original skull is squashed on the left side, but I straightened it out in this version. Tyrannosaurus lived sixty-five million years ago at the end of the Cretaceous. Once considered rare, there are over 25 significant specimens now known. | |||
