I've shown the progression from conceptual sketches, through sculpting,
and the finished version of this 18" tall egg. In the bronze version
there is a "tortoise shell" patina on the surface of a smooth
eggshell. The resin version has a bumpy texture based on the known texures
of similar dinosaur eggs.
