LOST ART GALLERYDinosaur Bronzes Gallery

Dinosaur art falls into an unusual category. Unlike other art, it carries a special responsibility. It must present what we know as accurately as possible. Artists who work in this realm are interpreters, showing the public what scientists have been learning...and lately they have been learning a lot. What we believe about these fantastic creatures is changing daily, and artists are busy keeping up. While our toy stores are filled with dinosaur paraphernalia, dinosaurs are not just for kids. The kids grow up, but our fascination never fades. We soak in the scientific literature. We spend hours debating the evidence for warm bloodedness, or what a nest full of eggs can tell us. As an artist I strive to show off the living animals and comment on the state of our scientific knowledge. I love these creatures!
